What is included
What you get
Eight modules
Covering the drinking patterns, triggers, and risk windows specific to divorce and separation.
50-question drinking pattern diagnostic
Completed before Module 1 begins to identify your dominant drinking pattern and the specific triggers shaping your drinking during separation.
Two 45-minute video calls
One-to-one video calls with Alastair. The first follows your diagnostic. The second comes after course completion, once you have had time to apply the strategies in real life.
Course delivery and resources
Delivered and assessed through TalentLMS, with audio, video explainers, and infographics for each module. Flipbook provided on completion.
90 days of email support
Email support from enrolment, covering questions on the modules, your pattern diagnosis, and your strategy choices.
CPD certificate of completion
Issued by Alcohol Reduction Coach™ on passing the final assessment. This course is validated by The CPD Group.
How this works
What this involves in practice
The diagnostic shows you what is driving your drinking. The modules show you what to do about it. The real work is applying that in real life while separation is still ongoing.
How change happens
The modules build your strategy around your diagnostic. Change comes from using those strategies in real situations, tracking what happens, and adjusting over time.
Why the support matters
Separation does not sit still. Proceedings continue. Contact arrangements change. New trigger points appear. The second video call and 90 days of email support are there so you are not left trying to do that alone.
If you need longer
If proceedings continue beyond the included support period, or new stress points emerge after the 90 days, additional one-to-one sessions are available at £75 per session.
The certificate marks completion of the course. It does not mean the situation around you has finished changing.
The programme
Built for this situation
The BAC System™ (Balance and Control), developed by Alastair, is already used by hundreds of non-dependent drinkers to move from autopilot to intentional drinking. This course applies it to the drinking patterns, triggers, and risk windows that separation creates.

What clients say
"I've known Alastair for years, and when he reset his own relationship with alcohol then set up ARC, I knew I had to be one of his first clients. We quickly identified my triggers, and I've now got a toolbox of strategies that have transformed my own habits as well as my understanding of myself."
Marcus, 51 | Wine Importer
"I went from drinking a bottle of NZ Sauvignon every night to 1.5 bottles per week, and it hasn't been difficult at all. I'm saving over £200 per month, I've lost weight, and my skin has improved. Even my Spotify listening age has come down with my new evening routines."
Louise, 53 | Registered Nurse
"The hardest part for me always used to be the hour after work, wine o'clock. I swapped it for a hot shower, a proper dinner and something good to watch. Sounds small, but it changed everything."
Jess, 37 | Secondary School Teacher
"I thought I was functioning fine, but after a few months my focus, energy and calm told a different story. Not only am I performing better at work, but I'm more present for my family and friends and drinking a lot less coffee in the mornings."
Mark, 46 | Solicitor
