Bespoke alcohol awareness and moderation programmes built around the working patterns of high-functioning adults. CPD certified. Designed to your brief.
Founded by Alastair Cassie after 30 years in the wine trade, working globally in sales, marketing, buying and winemaking. For the past three years, I have been teaching individuals how to cut back without having to quit entirely. My bespoke BAC System™ is based on three decades of experience and backed by neuroscience and behavioural science.
Alcohol awareness that works for real workplace culture
Alcohol sits at the heart of British workplace culture. Client entertainment, team drinks, long-hours industries where the pub has become the unofficial debrief room. For most organisations, it is not a problem until it is.
ARC develops bespoke programmes for employers, HR teams, and occupational health leads. These sit outside the standard EAP model: structured, evidence-informed, and built around the drinking patterns of functioning adults rather than clinical dependency frameworks. Every programme is designed to your brief and submitted for CPD certification so learning hours are formally recognised. All programmes are built on the BAC System™, ARC's diagnostic-first moderation methodology.
What a programme can include
- How autopilot drinking develops in high-pressure environments
- Alcohol's effect on sleep, cognition and performance
- Practical moderation strategies grounded in behavioural science
- The ARC NAV™ framework applied to workplace contexts
- Recognising when a colleague may need specialist support
- Sector-specific content for hospitality, finance, legal and related fields
Extend your offering with a structured approach to alcohol moderation
Alcohol shows up in your clients' results whether it is on the agenda or not. Sleep, recovery, mood, body composition: it cuts across all of it. Most coaches deflect rather than address it directly, often because there is no structured framework to work from.
ARC's practitioner pathway gives you a credentialled, evidence-based methodology for working with clients on alcohol moderation, grounded in the same BAC System™ that underpins ARC's client programmes. It is particularly relevant if your client base includes people whose health and performance goals are being quietly undermined by habitual drinking patterns they would never describe as a problem. A useful starting point is ARC's Am I Drinking Too Much? guide, which maps the territory your clients are likely navigating.
No. ARC is built entirely around moderation and people who drink regularly. The goal is to help people drink on their own terms, not to stop altogether.
EAP services typically address clinical dependency and crisis intervention. ARC programmes are designed for the much larger group of employees who drink above recommended Government guidelines but would never seek help through an EAP. It fills a gap most workplace wellbeing provisions do not cover.
That depends on the brief. Programmes range from a single workshop session to a structured multi-week course. Everything is scoped at the outset.
Yes. Programmes can be delivered in person, remotely, or as a blended format depending on your team's setup.
All programmes are delivered by Alastair Cassie, founder of ARC, or one of his industry-qualified colleagues.
CPD certification means that time spent on the programme counts towards employees' formal continuing professional development hours. This is particularly relevant in regulated industries and professions where CPD is a requirement.
Programmes are priced on scope, audience size and delivery format. Get in touch with a brief outline of what you need, and you will receive a proposal.
